LEADING THE WAY IN TEACHER TRAINING

TESOL for Teens & Adults

TESOL for Teens & Adults is a 4-week, comprehensive program that builds on the core skills and knowledge developed in TESOL. Topics (listening, speaking, reading, writing, lexis, phonology, and grammar) are revisited and developed to a deeper level with further practice. Additionally, this program explores experiential, hands-on, and discovery learning styles. It also examines the concept of content-based instruction and includes a science-fair prep module. Teenage learner-specific and adult learner-specific classroom management are also discussed. This course includes a Cambridge TKT (Teacher Knowledge Test) component, upon completion of which graduates will have the confidence and preparedness to take the exam.
