It’s nice to show up in a new city and have somewhere to call home right away. Staying in homestay can be a great way to acclimate yourself to life in Canada. You have a local family who can show you the ropes and keep you company—and you don’t have to do any of the cooking!

At VIC-CC, we take great care in selecting the homestay families that we place our students with. Many of our homestay families have been partnering with VIC-CC for years. Our homestay coordinator visits every home and meets every family before we ever place our students with them.

Based upon your student application, we will match you with a family that we believe will suit your particular needs and make your time in Vancouver memorable and enjoyable.

We will email you a profile of your host family and, if possible, provide you with an email address so you can correspond with your new Canadian family before you arrive.
