So much more than just a room
It’s nice to show up in a new city and have somewhere to call home right away. Staying in homestay can be a great way to acclimate yourself to life in Canada. You have a local family who can show you the ropes and keep you company—and you don’t have to do any of the cooking!
At VIC-CC, we take great care in selecting the homestay families that we place our students with. Many of our homestay families have been partnering with VIC-CC for years. Our homestay coordinator visits every home and meets every family before we ever place our students with them.
Stay with a homestay, feel at home
Based upon your student application, we will match you with a family that we believe will suit your particular needs and make your time in Vancouver memorable and enjoyable.
We will email you a profile of your host family and, if possible, provide you with an email address so you can correspond with your new Canadian family before you arrive.
Make You Feel at Home
Vancouver International College provides students with first-rate homestay placement services. Students who live in a homestay will benefit from learning about Canadian culture from their homestay family. Most importantly, students will be placed in a safe and affordable homestay that will supply 3 meals a day and a furnished private or shared room based on the request, all within a 35-50 minute commute.
