Student Orientation Process

New Student Orientation

Welcome to VIC! All new international students must attend our mandatory Orientation on their first day. This session covers essential topics like school policies, student services, and adjusting to life in Vancouver to ensure a successful start. Our student support team is here to help you succeed.

1. Arrival & Check-in

Please arrive promptly at 8:30 AM to begin the orientation process.

Required Documentation:

  • Passports
  • Other required documents

2. Core Briefing Session

A comprehensive presentation will cover all essential school policies.

Key Topics:

  • School Rules & Policies
  • Individual Courses Passing Requirements (60%+)
  • Co-op and Graduation Eligibility (70% average)
  • Attendance Policy

3. Finalizing Enrollment

Complete necessary paperwork and get set up for your first day.

Activities Include:

  • Signing waivers & releases
  • Reviewing contracts
  • Student ID Info

Once all steps are completed, you will proceed to your first class.
