Refund Policy Highlights

Withdrawal (Before Program Start): 100% refund (minus application fee) if notice is received within 7 days of signing the contract. After 7 days, the institution may retain up to 10% of tuition (max $1,000).

Withdrawal (After Program Start): Refunds are pro-rated. If up to 10% of instruction has been provided, the institution may retain 10% of tuition. If 10-30% is provided, 30% may be retained. If 30-50% is provided, 50% may be retained. No refund after 50% of instruction has been provided.

Study Permit Refusal: For international students, if a study permit is refused before 30% of the program would have been completed, a 100% tuition refund (minus application fee) will be issued.

Program Cancellation: A full 100% refund of all tuition and related fees will be provided if the institution cancels the program.
Institutional Financial Assistance, Scholarships, Bursaries, And Awards
In accordance with section 4.2.7.1 n of the BC Education Quality Assurance Manual, Vancouver International College does not presently administer or fund any institutional financial assistance, scholarships, bursaries, or awards; consequently, there are no internal eligibility criteria or application procedures at this time. Students who wish to reduce their study costs are encouraged to investigate external funding sources, including provincial or private scholarships, federal grants, and education-related tax credits, and to consult a College Advisor for personalised guidance on locating and applying for those opportunities.
