LEADING THE WAY IN TEACHER TRAINING

TESOL Advanced Online

As EFL / ESL education develops, teachers are often expected to have a sound knowledge of methodology, a toolkit of techniques, and an understanding of classroom management. TESOL Advanced Online prepares and trains aspiring teachers for the classroom and offers a comprehensive professional development opportunity for experienced educators. While participating in the program, candidates consolidate their knowledge of the English language, get acquainted with the principles of effective teaching and obtain an array of practical skills for teaching English to adult learners. Graduates of this program will find that they are able to make the transition into the private or public EFL / ESL classroom with ease and confidence.

Preparing students for success in a changing world

Upon graduation, students will be able to: apply a solid linguistic and pedagogical base to their teaching, manage a variety of classroom scenarios effectively, communicate effectively with students from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds and plan effective lessons. Students will also be able to build their skills and confidence as teachers through a wide range of practice tasks and learn to create interesting and meaningful teaching materials.

Graduates will find careers as ESL/EFL Teachers at language colleges globally and in Canada, online English teachers and as English tutors.
